An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
